1. Brad is actually my middle name “Bradley” actually.

2. My first name is Charles, as is my dad’s.  The compromise to having two Charles’s in the house was that I went by my middle name.  For this reason, the first day of school always sucked.

3. I hate olives and mushrooms.  Just don’t like the texture.  I will eat fried mushrooms, though.  My mom used to make a special batch of egg salad for me without the olives.

4. I was once mugged at knifepoint a few years ago.  He got away with my cash and bachelor auction tickets I was selling for a fundraiser.  He showed up the night of the auction and wanted a refund for the tickets.  Had to go down to the police station and pick him out of a lineup.  As a repeat felon, he is in jail for seven years.

5. I had someone that I dated once actually stalk me and he hired a private detective to follow me around. His relatives threatened to out me to my family (thats resolved already BTW) unless I went out with him. :O  I was close to getting a restraing order on him when he met someone else.

6. One of the weird things I have in my fridge is canned grean beans.  I have always eaten them cold for some reason. (my brother used to eat frozen fish sticks, so I guess this is better)

7. I can be painfully shy when meeting new people.  Once the ice is broken, I am OK.

8. When in a group conversation, I tend to be more of a listener than an active participant.

9. I like to order oddball stuff of of menus at restaurants, and usually have the best tasting dish of those sitting with me.

10. Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream is my favorite followed by Chocolate Chip Coookie Dough.   I love the Tiramisu Cheesecake at Cheesecake Factory

11. My first album that I owned was Captain and Tenille.

12. I like my eggs over-easy.

13. I have lived in three states: Ohio, Texas, and Illinois.  Before my current IT jobs, I worked in restaurant management.

14. I really like playing tennis. It’s actually nicer to actually being st least semi-good at it.  While I enjoy softball, tennis is basically an individual sport, and you live and die by what you do for the most part.

15. I was on AOL when it was PC-Link, and we were charged by the hour.  I actually hosted a Trivia room once a week, and I was paid by getting a whole extra free hour!

16. I have around 25-30 stuffed animals, many of them won at amusement parks playing Whack-A-Mole just one or two times. I always play before I leave so I dont have to carry it around all day.

17. I was actually one of the first of my friends to own a digital camera. I’m such a techie.

18. When I do drink, I like sweet drinks.  Keep that martini away from me!  That being said, I am a light weight when it comes to alcohol.

19, Although my ethnic heritage is German (4th generation), I don’t like sauerkraut and I don’t like beer that much.  They would probably not allow me in to visit if I ever returned.

20. I lost one of my front teeth in a fight over an umpire I call I made during a 4th grade recess kickball game.

21. One of my adult teeth that had not come in got lodged in some scar tissue caused by that accident, never grew down. As a result I actually had a baby tooth until it eventually came out last year.  The tooth fairy owes me – plus interest!

22. My first athletic trophy was from a summer bowling league I was in.  My last one was from a tennis tournament this last year.  I have a total of 3 tennis trophies, 2 softball medals, and the one bowling trophy.

23. The last four digits of my cellphone spell BRAD. Someone cloned my old cell phone and was making calls in Mexico with it, so Cingular made me change my number.  I asked them if they had BRAD available and they gave it to me, I think more out of guilt then anything.

24. I am a home body at heart.  I need to be nudged to go out and socialize.  Of course that is the big Catch-22, when you are single, isn’t it?

25. There are times when I am extremely envious of all things that my friends do and have. I frequently forget about the good things that I do and have.   I need to work on that.
